Yes, government subsidies allow more people to go to school, and the increased demand results in schools raising their prices in the spirit of profit-making — sometimes too much profit-making.
But would you rather we have an uneducated public unable to obtain jobs that require high skills in exchange for high pay, “thought provoking url?” A poorly-skilled, poorly-paid public with little or no disposable income stuck in a non-innovating economy? You understand that America is not a Third World country and 99% of its people don’t want it to become one, don’t you?
